RINGVE - A WORLD FOR ITSELF!

Ringve is an old summer residence at Lade, three kilometres from the centre of Trondheim. Norways national museum for music and musical instruments is located here. Surrounded by the botanical garden, Ringve offers experiences for all ones senses.

The visit to your museum during my trip with the Hurtigruten was an unforgettable experience. To be met by three sweet, singing and German speaking girls was an experience which went right to the heart. I congratulate you with a great concept, and a museum in beautiful and well-kept surroundings.

We can offer tour companies the following:

Musical guided tour - Our guides take you through music history with Ringves historical interior as a background for the guided tour. Various stories and anecdotes give life to music history, and the guides demonstrate also a selection of the instruments.

Museum in the barn - The exhibition takes you through the development of music from the 17th century to today. Here you find everything from the venerable cello to Meråker clarinet or a colourful Rockola jukebox. Here one goes through on ones own, and can spend as much time as one wishes.

Time needed for a guided tour is approx. 40-45 minutes
Time needed for the museum in the barn is approx. 15-45 minutes

For groups with reservations, opening hours are from 8 am to 9 pm.
