The Tordenskiold Collection

The Tordenskiold collection was primarily built up by Victoria Bachke who opened the Tordenskiold museum in 1950 and was available up to 1972 when the building was closed due to climatic conditions and safety reasons.

The collection consists of objects and weapons, where only few can be documented to have had some connection to Tordenskiold. Some are from his era and some can be connected to Ringve Manor history. Further, the collection consists of a certain number of sculptures and paintings, primarily copies of the most well known Tordenskiold portraits.

Parts of the collection is exhibited in the Estate history room in the Museum in the Great House.
