The Renaissance garden is a historical herb garden and consists of around 120 ornamental plants, vegetables, medicinal- and herbs used in Trondheim in the 17th century.

This garden opened in 1994 to commemorate the first garden book in Norway published 300 years ago, written by Christian Gartner.
